3 weeks!!!

3 weeks from today at this very moment, I will be walking off stage, finished with the competition. I made my menu plan for the next 3 weeks and I am more focused than ever. I have been filling my mind with as much information about competing that I can get my hands on. I have been watching blog videos and reading up on how to prepare, what to expect etc. My meal plan this week is really focused on just getting needed nutrients such as lean proteins and veggies and I am trying to cut carbs as much as possible.
Today we had our group workout. I was so tired and just didn't feel like I was in it, but still managed to burn 500 calories. It was such a beautiful day that I went for a run this afternoon on the lake for 6 miles, burning an additional 630 calories for a total of 1130 calories burned today. Here is a picture of me after flipping muddy tires. Haha.
Alot of information I have been reading all suggest that the contestants wish they had spent more time practicing posing. I have been trying to practice posing at least every other night. Here are some pics I just snapped during my posing practice. I am pleased with my shoulders and ab progression, but need to work on my triceps and butt and increase my cardio to target the fat under my arm. I wish I could ensure increased muscle development in my glutes without increasing the muscle development in my thighs. I do not want my quads to get any bigger or find a way to hide them in posing.
 In other news I am having fun planning our trip. I have been so caught up in the competition aspect that I forgot I actually get to go on vacation. YEA!!! VACATION!! :)
