So this has been a crazy month. I have had a lot going on!!
I have accepted a position with RevEx as a client manager/trainer. I went through the orientation process and I am now a RevEx coach. I am greatly enjoying this side job. It actually doesn't feel like I have 2 jobs since I enjoy what I do so very much. I still work as periop nurse Mon-Friday. I am not sure what role nursing will play in my future but I have peace I will discover that role naturally.
I have also been accepted to begin training with Team Bombshell. The same trainer that trains all these lovely ladies. (Pictures taken from Team Bombshell.com)
I was accepted on their competition team and begin my journey with them after I attend Bombshell camp in Daytona Florida in April. I coud not be more happier with all the wonderful events that have taken place.
I am back at the gym and working on improving the areas I needed the most improvement on from my last show. I am also dreaming of my next suit. ;)
I want to be honest with you. I have had a very strong mental struggle getting my head "back in the game" since I returned from LA. I have alot of good days with a few really bad days thrown in there. Ultimately I decided that what motivated me in the first place was being as open and honest with my friends/family as I could with my journey, hence this blog. I decided to continue this "support system" by beginning a new challenge to keep me motivated as I prepare for my next two shows. I am going to start blogging "What I Ate Today" daily blogs. If I have to account for everything I put in my mouth with a picture and publically "fess up" to it, I think it will help me when I am feeling not as strong and my will power wants to give in.
I will also post my workouts as an additional tool. I can only do this for the next 2 months because once I start my training with Team Bombshell, that info is TOP SECRET ;) So hopefully together we can learn as much as possible from eachother. I eat alot of repetition foods, so this could end up being terribly boring but I'll try to keep it interesting with new recipes, helpful hints etc.
See you tomorrow!!

I hate to come out of the woodwork but I started following a blog after a friend "liked" one of your photos from LA. I am already fit (5'4, 110lbs, 24 years old), but am looking to take my fitness to the next level like you did. I'm a law student though and don't have the money for PT so have been scrolling blogs to find techniques/motivation to complete the goal. I'm happy you started blogging again, and despite the repetition, am still happy to know what you're eating!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the phenomenal work! As I random fan, I think what you have done is amazing and am glad you're going to continue with it!
