08:00 Meal Two: Oatmeal/Protein breakfast
1/3 cup oatmeal
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
11:00 Meal Three Egg White/Veggie Quiche and Sweet Potato
2:00 Meal Four: 2 oz. Baked Chicken with garlic cloves and 1.5 cups roasted zucchini
2:30 Gym - sprint intervals and Glutes - Abs
4:00 Meal Five: 3 oz. extra lean ground turkey with asparagus/broccoli
Temptations of the day
Number One -
A coworkers red velevet birthday cake.... cake = 0, Whittney = +100!!! (I get a lot of points because red velvet is my FAVORITE)
Number Two -
Husband's work event surrounded by free booze, fried food, chocolate fondue fountains and cupcake/candy bars. Fatfest = 0, Whittney = +1,000,000 (I mean, come on!)
I had two sips of a new beverage they were sampling and then went home and ate spinach. I felt stronger for it and my abs looked so much better this morning than yesterday.
Wednesday
I usually use Wednesday as my off day because I get tired mid-week of waking up at 0300 for my workouts. Plus I enjoy training on the weekends because I have more time.
I slept in till 0400 today! ;)
0500 Meal One: Spinach/protein smoothie
Just like Tuesday's, but I added two strawberries...yum!
0530 Work
0800 Meal Two: One La Tortilla Factory low carb tortilla with 2 tbsp almond butter and two strawberries. HEAVEN!
1100 Meal Three: Egg white/veggie quiche with sweet potato
02:00 Meal Four: 2 oz. baked chicken with roasted garlic, asparagus and 2 cups spring mix lettuce - sprinkled with balsamic vinegar
05:00 Meal Five: 3 oz extra lean ground turkey breast, 2 cups spring mix lettuce, 1 cup broccoli, 5 cherry tomoatos, topped with 1 oz fat free feta, 1 tbsp salsa
08:00 Meal Six - I anticipate keeping it light today since I am not training. I will most likely have salad with nuts and feta.
Temptation Number one:
A coworker brought krispy kreme donuts in.... Donuts = 0, Whittney = Yeah baby!
I sent off my registration for the Ronnie Coleman TODAY! I am officially entered. It is March 31st in Mesquite, Texas. I plan on coming in town the Friday morning before the show because our athletes meeting is that night. I will be ready to have a nice dinner out, hopefully with some girlfriends of mine and then get right bake to training since the Texas Shredder is only 14 days later in Austin.
Just got back from the grocery store and I am giong to take a nice long nap and then cook food for the next 5 days. I imagine depsite having today off, I will squeeze in some plyometrics later ;)
