26 days!!

I am 26 days out from the competition. I am officially in the home stretch. No more playing around or a little cheating here and there. It is officially time to get serious.
My game plan this week is to continue aiming for minimal net calorie/day by focusing heavily on cardio and maintaining a low carb/high protein diet. I have decided to not allow myself any more cheats. I had great results last week and lost 3 pounds, finally bringing me into the 130's. Only 9 more pounds to go. I am hoping to be able to pull another big number week and loose an additional 3-4 pounds this week. If I am able to meet my goal, I will allow myself to purchase a piece of workout garb from lulu this weekend.
And in order to keep my sanity, I have given myself something to look forward to in Los Angeles after the competition....Babycakes! I have always wanted to go to that bakery. It is a vegan, gluten free bakery based out of NYC but there happens to be one a couple blocks away from our hotel. If I am able to maintain no cheats till the competition, I will let myself have a cupcake or maybe even a doughnut from this bakery! I also make reservation for the evening of the competition to enjoy a romantic and delicious dinner at M grill. It is a Brazilian steakhouse in downtown LA. If anyone has any suggestions of things to do while in LA let me know. We have Sunday-Tuesday afternoon free to play around the city.

Here is my plan for this week.

Tuesday AM: 1 hour cardio
PM: 1 hour cardio and Abs

Wednesday AM: Group Training
                    PM: 1 hour cardio

Thursday AM: 1 hour cardio
PM: 1 hour cardio and Abs

Friday AM: Group Training
            PM: 1 hour cardio

Saturday AM: Community group training
               Sprints and Abs

Sunday: Nice easy run on the lake

My cardio is a mixture of running and plyometric exercises so I am still engaging muscle development but using my own body weight as opposed to lifting heavy weights. I am hoping this will help me present a lean and toned package and help me not to come off to muscular.

I plan to continue my nutrition plan but keep it very low carb, no sugar and heavy on the green vegetables for my last two-three meals of the day.

I hope everyone had an excellent time celebrating the new year!

Stick to your resolutions and have PATIENCE! You can do it!
