I woke up this morning and put on my bathing suit and took my pictures/measurements and weighed myself. I was surprisingly only 1 pound away from my target. I considered this a miracle due to the fact I was 4 pounds away just one day prior. It was probably a combination of eating clean, my body finally flushing out the sodium from cheat day(s) and the 1.5 hour workout in which I burned 930 calories yesterday. Even though I was sad to see the numbers not be where I would have liked, I can confidently say that I know if I stay COMPLETELY on track this week, Ill definitely be able to catch up and meet my target weight for next Sunday.
I spent all day in the kitchen, preparing meals for my husband and I. My new 'go to' favorite breakfast is vegetable egg white cups I created. They are easy to make before hand and delicious. I prepped some up for the busy week ahead.
Vegetable Egg White Cups
4 egg whites
3-4 cubes of Zuchini
3-4 cubes of Squash
1 Cherry Tomato
Sprinkle of asaparagus tips
Dash of pepper
I am excited about the week ahead. I feel it will bring continued and hopefully sustained results and I am excited to achieve the 5 pound weight loss mark. It has been awhile for me that I have been that weight.
Goals this week:
- Eat Clean - No Cheat Days
-Burn 5,200 Calories combined over the coarse of my workouts
-Maintain 20-30 grams of protein at each meal/snack
-Meet Sunday weigh in target goal
