Motivation

I am doing research to hopefully shed some light on some personal questions I have about life and fitness. Please help me out by answering these to the best of  your ability.

THANKS!!!

1) What are your personal goals in the realm of fitness/health and nutrition?

2) What motivates you? What drives you to put the time and effort in making your health and body a priority?

3) What qualities, skills and training would you want a personal health coach to have to help you reach your goals?

4) What would you say is the area you have the most questions about pertaining to health: nutrition or training?

  1. My feedback probably won't be too helpful, but here it is!:

    1) What are your personal goals in the realm of fitness/health and nutrition?
-Get active enough to be in decent shape.
-Exercise on a daily (or near daily) basis to improve my core and back, so I have less back issues.
-Eat semi-decently so when my metabolism fails me I don't balloon up.

    2) What motivates you? What drives you to put the time and effort in making your health and body a priority?

Motivates me in general? Learning and being happy. Motivates me to make heath and body a priority? Not much currently--that's probably why it's not one.

    3) What qualities, skills and training would you want a personal health coach to have to help you reach your goals?

-Flexibility in designing work-out routines that can be done with limited time investment and at home.
    -Ability to motivate me.
-The patience not to give up on me when I disappear for weeks to focus on school.

    4) What would you say is the area you have the most questions about pertaining to health: nutrition or training?

Probably nutrition and recipes for easy-to-make meals that I could eat on a regular basis. Advice on workout routines is helpful too though.

  2. To add:
If you really wanted to compile a good amount of data to these questions, I would consider finding an online survey site you like and doing the survey on that. Then asking facebook/twitter friends to respond to that. It would probably be easier to respond to (commenting on this blog involves more steps that might chase away responders) and easier for people to fill out. (Plus it would be easier to quantify the results if you included some multiple choice questions.)
